1. Photos you scan

A photo you scan is sent once to our recognition server to read the label text, then discarded. We do not store scanned photos on any server. A small thumbnail may be kept on your device only.

2. Product database

Product information read from labels (brand, product name, category, ingredient list or specifications, dates) is saved in a shared product database so the next person does not need recognition. It contains no personal data and is not linked to you.

3. Your shelf

Your shelf, opened dates, and notes are stored on your device only and are deleted with the app.

4. Your account

The app signs you in anonymously through Firebase Authentication. If you choose, you can link a Google account or an email and password to keep your reviews on a new device. We store only your nickname, skin type, the country or region you chose, and app language in your profile. We do not use your device location. We do not store your name or email address in our database; Firebase Authentication keeps the sign-in method itself.

5. Reviews and comments

A review or comment you post (star rating, text, skin type, country flag, language) is public and is shown in the app and on our website with your nickname. It is linked to your account ID, not to your name. When someone asks for a translation, the text is translated once by an AI translation service and the result is saved with the text. Reports you send are stored with your account ID to prevent duplicate reports. Scans, reviews, and comments are counted per product to show trending products; these counts contain no personal data. We do not collect reviews or prices from other websites. The Trending tab counts product mentions in public videos through official APIs, as described in section 10.

Posts and comments you write in the Community tab are public in the same way as reviews and are shown with your nickname, skin type, and country flag. They are deleted when you delete your account.

Photos you attach to a community post are optional. They are checked automatically once for safety by an AI service, stored on our server, and shown publicly with the post. Location data and other metadata are removed before a photo is stored. The photos are deleted when you delete the post or your account. Photos you scan are still not stored.

When you follow someone, save a post, or block an author, the record is stored with your account ID. Follower and following counts are shown on profiles. The posts you saved and the authors you blocked are visible only to you, and we never tell anyone that they were blocked. These records are deleted when you delete your account.

6. Ads and store links

The app may show Google AdMob ads. Google may use the advertising ID to show personalized ads, according to Google's policies.

A button that takes you to a store opens that store's search results for the product. Each tap passes through our server, which counts taps per store, per product, and per screen only. We do not record who tapped. Some store links may be affiliate links, and the app operator may receive a commission when you make a purchase. After you leave the app, the store applies its own policies.

7. Nature of the information

Ingredient lists are read from labels as printed and may contain recognition errors. Cautions come from a fixed rule table with sources and are general information, not medical advice.

8. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account in the Account tab at any time. This removes your profile, all your reviews and their translations, your reports, and your sign-in. You can also request deletion on our website or by email.

9. Purchase price and store (optional)

When you write a review or add a product to your shelf, you may choose to enter the price you paid, the currency, and where you bought it. If you do, these values are sent to our server and saved with your account ID. They are used only to show a price range and the most common store for each product, and they are never shown with your nickname. They are deleted when you delete your account. A reference price range marked as an estimate comes from the general knowledge of an AI model, not from stores.

10. YouTube API Services

The Trending tab uses YouTube API Services to show which products are mentioned in public videos, with the video title, link, and view count. We do not send your personal data to YouTube for this, and collected video data is kept for no more than 30 days. When you open a video link, YouTube applies its own policies.
